Set Up Slip Format
Hardware
Using this[2] Cheap Thermal Receipt POS Printer. It is very cheap, and actually named that.
This[3] is required to install the unsigned drivers.
At the moment, Chrome only supports graphics printing,[4] so we are stuck with Firefox at the moment.
Logo
Instructions here[5] for installation of logo atop receipt.
Logo must be under 384x600 px, and (apparently) under 138KB.
To enable it, open "Printers and Scanners" screen in Windows, choose properties of POS-58, then "Device Settings" tab. Under "Installable Options," choose "Print NV Logo1" under "NV Logo."
(Any way to use more than one logo?)
Firefox Settings
- Press hamburger icon, then "Print."
- Choose "Page Setup..."
- Deselect "Shrink to fit Page Width"
- Choose "Margins & Header/Footer" tab
- Top margin: .1", all other 0
- Blank all headers & footers
