Revision as of 12:34, 28 April 2021
For my Capstone, I decided to focus on my belly dance journey I started when I was 16, and the process of it all. I included my reasons for interest, some informational background for context, and some insight into the benefits it poses to me as a person with a tense nature.

Advice | Don't compare your projects to your classmate's projects, and don't overthink it to where you believe you have to make a groundbreaking project that's super unique and brilliant and sums up your entire character into a google slides. It's truly not that deep. |

How It Began
Throughout the whole year, I've kept the same project, since I was 100% positive this is what I wanted it to be about.
How It Changed
Things didn't quite go as planned, since an originally integral part of my project was supposed to include me taking dance classes once a week or a couple of times per month. I could not keep up with that due to Covid, so I had to guide myself by using a number of online resources.
Reflection
I definitely have developed a deeper passion and appreciation for the art of belly dancing itself, more so than what I had in the past. It's made me nostalgic for the days I would have the opportunity to drop into classes every week and learn from a teacher in person. After doing this project, I definitely plan on continuing belly dance.
