Set Up Slip Format

Hardware

Using this[2] Cheap Thermal Receipt POS Printer. It is very cheap, and actually named that.

This[3] is required to install the unsigned drivers.

At the moment, Chrome only supports graphics printing,[4] so we are stuck with Firefox at the moment.

Instructions here[5] for installation of logo atop receipt.

Logo must be under 384x600 px, and (apparently) under 138KB.

To enable it, open "Printers and Scanners" screen in Windows, choose properties of POS-58, then "Device Settings" tab. Under "Installable Options," choose "Print NV Logo1" under "NV Logo."

(Any way to use more than one logo?)

Firefox Settings

  1. Press hamburger icon, then "Print."
  2. Choose "Page Setup..."
  3. Deselect "Shrink to fit Page Width"
  4. Choose "Margins & Header/Footer" tab
  5. Top margin: .1", all other 0
  6. Blank all headers & footers
