There are two significant first steps in choosing a university.

  1. Find a blank notebook
  2. Begin writing the names of universities

We host a wide number of universities at our school each year. The college admissions counselors who visit us speak about what their university has to offer, and about the opportunity it could hold for your future education. Attend as many of these visits as possible and ask questions! If you know what you want to do in the future, ask about that every single time. If you are not sure, ask what makes this university stand out. Regardless of the answers you receive, make note

College Scorecard

The presentation to the right demonstrates one way to use the College Scorecard maintained by the Federal Department of Education. It offers a cold, if thorough comparison of every university in the United States, and a few outside.
