| Why I teach | I teach because I want to help students find their way through life and help them find what kind of person they want to be. I did not have much confidence growing up, and so I hope to show my students how they can be confident in themselves and in their skills. I also hope to begin to show my students all of the opportunities that lie ahead of them. The world is wide open to them and I want to make sure they are able to take full advantage of it! |
| About me | I have lived in Oklahoma my whole life, but that doesn’t mean I’ve seen it all. In fact, I feel like I am constantly learning about places I’ve never heard of in or facts I never knew about our state. I am a true nerd at heart. I am always ready for a discussion on a variety of fandoms and ready to learn about new ones! I am also a writer and musician. While on the outside it may seem like math, writing, and music might not work well together, that’s how it’s always been in my brain. I love surprising people with my variety of skills and showing them that you don’t have to limit yourself to one area. |
