I painted a faceless portrait of Selena. She was a Mexican American artist in the late 80s to mid 90s. I used acrylic paint and a white canvas. I wanted to do this because I think pictures can give you a better representation than words can. I used acrylic paint and colors such as purple,white,black and gold. These are colors that she liked and was associated with
