I painted a faceless portrait of Selena. She was a Mexican American artist in the late 80s to mid 90s. I used acrylic paint and a white canvas. I wanted to do this because I think pictures can give you a better representation than words can. I used acrylic paint and colors such as purple,white,black and gold. First I wanted to draw her out with a pencil then paint everything else

I learned that there are different t kinds of paints like acrylic or watercolor and it really takes time.
