In this one trimester elective students will be exposed to the classical world. From the Greeks to the Mesoamericans, students will gain an appreciation for past humanity. This course will also introduce students to some of the most famous myths, folktales, and legends in the ancient world. Through an interdisciplinary lens, students will explore the culture and language of these societies and will work to understand the relationship between ancient and modern myth, and why myths continue to speak to us today.
